Overview

This Privacy Notice is here to help you understand how your personal data is collected, stored or used, and what is happening to it when you're using Ready App and services. We have written two versions: a full-text version which is legally binding, and also section summaries, which will hopefully make the legal language sound more understandable. You will need to agree to this Privacy Notice, and our Terms of Service before you use Ready App or Service for the first time. 1. Who we are?

1.1. We are Ready Property International Limited, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom (company number 07918920) which is the data controller under European Union data protection legislation. In this Privacy Notice, we will refer to ourselves as “Ready”.

2. What does this Privacy Notice govern?


This Privacy Notice explains the kinds of data we collect when you are using Ready App. This document applies to users of Ready Services anywhere in the world. We comply with privacy laws.

2.1. This Privacy Notice applies to: our application, customer and technical support and any other services in relation to Ready App we provide to you (Hereafter, the term "Ready Services" will refer to all of these elements).


2.2. Privacy Notice specifically applies to:

  • Clients: users, that are seeking to rent or buy real estate under Agents’ Proposals. For the purposes of these Terms, the Clients are Clients of Agents in their legal and other relations, and not are Clients of Ready.

  • Agents: users, that can list property proposals for rent and purchase in Ready App, communicate and meet directly with their potential Clients.

  • Users: collective name of Clients and Agents.


2.3. Privacy Notice governs personal data and non-personal data, which we collect from you when you're using Ready Services. ("Personal data" means data, which, on its own or in combination with other data, can be used to identify you).

2.4. We respect your right to privacy and will only process personal data in accordance with applicable legislation in the EU and other countries where we offer our application and services.

3. How do we treat minors?


Our application is not supposed to be used by persons under the age of 16.

3.1. Ready does not provide services to persons under the age of 16. We do not and will not knowingly collect personal data from any child under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and are concerned about the personal data of your child, please contact [email protected]


If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we take steps to remove such data and terminate that person’s account.

4. What data do we collect?


When you use our services, we collect data about you and your activity. The data we collect is divided into three categories: data you provide, data collected automatically upon interaction with the app, data received from other sources.


Data listed in this section is necessary for us to provide our services.

4.1. Data you provide us with. Such data includes:

  • User Account: We collect information when you register or update your Ready Account. This may include (depending on which Account you register) your name, phone number, email address, photo.

  • Property data: When registering a property to rent or sale in Ready we may require the following data: address of the property, type of the property, number of bedrooms, area, floor, and photos of the property. Property data should not by any means mislead the Client, it should give a Client the right impression about the property he/she is about to view/rent/buy.

  • User content: We may collect information, which you submit upon interaction with Ready support, provide ratings or otherwise contact Ready.


4.2. Data collected automatically upon interaction with the app:

  • Location data: Depending on your device and application permissions, we may collect location information through GPS, IP address and WiFi.

    • If you are an Agent using the application, we will collect location data of a property which you post via Ready App.

    • As a Client, you may use Ready App without providing your permission to collect your location data.

  • Device data: We may collect technical details about any devices you use to access our services. Such data includes: any mobile device identifier, Internet and/or network connection, OS version, battery level, internal storage size and amount of free space, free RAM information. This is technical data about our Users’ devices and their actions and patterns which does not provide personal data.

  • Communications data: We implemented a chat in our application, so that our Users have an opportunity to communicate via Ready App. For example, Clients and Agents may communicate (send text and attachments) with each other via our application. To provide this service, we receive data regarding such communication, including date and time, content of the communications. We may use this information for customer support services (for example to resolve disputes between Users), for safety and security reasons (for example, to prevent fraud), to improve our services and for analytics purposes.

  • Usage data: We may collect data about your interaction with our services. This includes metrics data about when and how you are using services, traffic data, app features and pages viewed.


4.3. Data collected from third parties. We may collect data from other sources, these may include:

  • Verification procedure for our Agents. We use third-party services to conduct the verification procedure. We collect the decision of this party. You can learn more about the procedure on the respective site. Note, we collect only the decision, we do not collect or process the data you provide to third-party service.

  • Data from Ready business partners.

  • Data from various service providers, for example, Agents, marketing etc.

  • User feedback, for example, ratings.

  • Users or others providing information in connection with claims or disputes.


4.4. In order to use our application and use our services, we need to process data provided above. In case you do not agree to provide us with the above-mentioned data, you will not be able to use our application or use other services.

5. How do we use your data?


The main purpose of the collection of your data is to provide you with our service. Also, we use your data for other reasons such as:

  • Safety and security

  • Customer support

  • Communications from Ready

  • Compliance with legal obligations

  • Communications among Users

  • Research and development

5.1. Provide you with our service. We collect the data to provide you with a personalized experience. Also, to maintain and improve our services. This includes using the data to:

  • Create and update your Account.

  • Verify your identity.

  • Enable rental services.

  • Perform operations within Ready necessary to provide our services, such as troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems, to make data analysis, testing, research and to monitor and analyse usage trends.


5.2. Safety and security. We may use data we collect to create a safe environment for our Users. Also, to help maintain safety and integrity of our services and Users. This includes using data to:

  • Conduct verification of our Agents.

  • Prevent, detect and combat fraud.

  • Use User rating to encourage improvements and as a reason to deactivate Users with ratings below a certain minimum.


5.3. Customer support. We use the data we collect to provide you with a customer support services. This includes using data to:

  • Answer your questions.

  • Help resolve issues in relation to our services.

  • Monitor and improve customer support.


5.4. Communications from Ready. We may use data we collect to communicate with you about our services. We understand that good communication is very important in business relationships, that is why we will use any means of communications which are suitable for you. This means if you give us your permission we will communicate with you via: email, sms, phone calls or messengers (Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram etc.)


5.5. Compliance with legal obligations. We collect your data to comply with our legal obligations. Also, we may use your data we collect to investigate or address claims or disputes in relation to the usage of Ready Services or as otherwise allowed by applicable law, or as requested by regulators or government entities.


5.6. Communications among Users. We use data we collect to provide our Users with a communication feature within our application.


5.7. Research and development. We may use data we collect for the purpose of testing, analysis, research and overall development of the product and services. This also allows us to enhance safety and security, develop new features.

6. What are the grounds of data collection?


We have grounds for collection and processing of your data. We use the following grounds to collect and process your data:

  • Performance of a contract.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

  • Protection of vital interest of Users or of the others.

  • Legitimate interest of other persons or parties and public interest.

  • Our legitimate interest.

  • Your consent.

6.1. Performance of a contract. We need to process your data to provide you services and features you request. Collection and usage of this data is a requirement for using Ready App. Performance of a contract includes:

  • Data you provide to register your Ready Account is necessary for the establishing and maintaining of the Account. This also includes verification of your identity, enabling communications with you about your usage of the application.

  • Property data is necessary to enable Agents to provide services through Ready App. Property data is also necessary to give a Client an idea of what the propertys look.

  • Location data is necessary to post a property via our application and to the search for the properties located nearby.

  • Usage date is necessary to improve, maintain and develop Ready Services.


6.2. Compliance with legal obligations. In order to lawfully provide our services and features, we need to comply with legal obligations of the jurisdictions where we operate.

  • Legal obligations require that we collect, process, disclose and retain your personal data. We use your data to comply with legal obligations to the extent they apply to your use of Ready App.


  • We may share your data with law enforcement, or in case we receive a third party request to disclose your data pursuant to a legal proceeding.

6.3. Protection of vital interests of our Users or of the others. We may process personal data or even disclose it with law enforcement in case a threat to the safety of Users or of other people.


6.4. Legitimate interest of other persons or parties and public interest. We collect and use personal data when it is necessary for the interest of other persons or the general public.

  • We may use personal data in connection to legal claims, to protect the rights and safety of other persons and parties.

  • We may use personal data to perform a task carried out in the public interest.


6.5. Our legitimate interest. We collect and use personal data to the extent necessary for our legitimate interests. This includes:

  • To create a safe environment. For example, we collect the results of the verification procedure held by the third party to prevent unverified Users to provide services through our applications. For instance, we retain data of banned Users to prevent their use of the application.

  • To prevent, detect and combat fraud in connection with the use of our services.

  • To provide customer support.

  • To inform law enforcement representatives regarding criminal acts or threats to public safety.

  • To improve our services and to develop new ones. This includes, identifying the best areas where Users wants to view/rent/sell property. Improving navigation.

  • To conduct research and analysis. For example, we may analyse data to improve User experience and to improve safety and security of our services.


6.6. Your Consent. We may collect your data on the grounds of your consent. Note, you can withdraw your consent at any time. However, in case you withdraw your consent, you will not be able to use any service or feature that require collection or use of the data which we collected on the grounds of consent.

  • We collect User’s consent in connection to features which improve User’s experience, to enable optional services and/or features or to communicate with you.

7. How do we share and disclose data?


Certain services which we provide require us to share your data with other Users or at your request. Also, we may share your information for legal reasons or in connection with claims or disputes.


We may share your data in case of business transfers of any kind.

7.1. With other Users. When you use our application we need to share your data with other Users, for example:

  • If you are a Client, we may share your Account data with an Agent.

  • If you are an Agent, we may share your Account data with Clients.


7.2. Business Transfers. We will not sell your personal data to any company or organization, but we may transfer your personal data to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which we may participate or to a purchaser or acquirer of all or substantially all of Ready assets to which this application relates. In such event, we will notify you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Notice.


7.3. With service providers and business partners. We may provide data to our vendors, marketing partners. For example, this includes:

  • Cloud storage providers.

  • Marketing partners.

  • Consultants, lawyers and other professional service providers.


7.4. For legal reasons. We may disclose your data when it is required by applicable law, regulation, operating agreement, legal process or governmental request, or where the disclosure is otherwise appropriate due to safety or similar concerns. This includes:

  • Disclosing your data to law enforcement representatives, government authorities.


7.5. With your consent. We may share and/or disclose your personal data in cases where we have notified you and you have provided your consent.

8. How do we handle your data?


We will store your data on secure servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). We apply maximum effort to ensure your data is protected and well secured.


Generally, we will store your data for as long as you use our services. In case you stop using our services, we may still use limited data about you for legal, accounting and tax reasons.

8.1. Data storage. We will store the data we collect from you on secured servers within European Economic Area. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage. We will take all reasonably necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice. If you have any reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please, notify us immediately by contacting us in writing at [email protected]


8.2. Storage time. We need the data you provide for registering your Account to provide you with our service. We will retain such data for as long as you maintain Ready Account. In case you will decide to delete your Ready Account or in case we no longer need your data to provide you our service, we will delete your personal data. Unless we required to keep your data for longer period. Extended storage period applies in certain special cases, such as:

  • There is a legal obligation to retain your data to fulfill our tax, audit, legal and/or accounting obligations. In such cases, we will retain the necessary data for the period required by applicable law.

  • We have a legitimate interest to prevent, detect, and combat fraud and/or to maintain the security of our Users.

9. Do we transfer your data?


Ready is an international company. Therefore, we may need to process your data outside of the country of your residence. We use appropriate safeguards to protect your data.

9.1. Transfers outside EEA. In the course of our operations, we may need to transfer your data outside of EEA due to the international nature of Ready. In case of data transfers outside of the EEA, we will use all appropriate safeguards to protect your data including:

  • Binding corporate rules;

  • Data protection clauses.

10. Transparency. What are your rights and choices?


You control the data you provide to us, that is why you have certain rights under this Privacy Notice.


Also, you have means to control your data through:

10.1. Your rights. In case you provide us with your personal data, you may use your powers and exercise any of the rights described in this section. If you have any additional questions you can always send an email to [email protected] and we will do our best to support you.

10.1.1. Access. You can request an explanation of the personal data we process about you. Also, you can request a copy of your personal data undergoing processing.

10.1.2. Rectification. You can rectify/correct any inaccurate data about you.

10.1.3. Data portability. You have a right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you provided to us. You can make a request to transmit this data directly to another data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. We will transmit your data directly to another controller in cases where it is technically feasible.

10.1.4. Erasure. You have a right to be forgotten, which means that we will delete all personal data that you have provided to us. Note, we may retain certain information as required by law and for legitimate business purposes permitted by law.

10.1.5. Restrict processing. You can request us to temporarily or permanently stop processing all or some of your personal data.

10.1.6. Object processing. You can, at any time, object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. You have the right to object your personal data being processed for direct marketing purposes.

10.1.7. Lodge complaints. You have the right to file a complaint to a supervisory authority in relation to Ready usage of your personal data.

10.1.8. Not to be subject to automated decision-making. You have a right to not be subject to a decision based solely on automated decision making, including profiling, where the decision would have a legal effect on you or produce a similarly significant effect.


10.2. Device permissions. Our application is supported on iOS and Android platforms. These platforms have defined certain types of device data that application is not able to access without your prior consent.

11. How do we update this Notice?


Sometimes we can update this Privacy Notice. We recommend you to periodically review our Privacy Notice.

11.1. Updates. From time to time we may update this Notice. For example, we may need to update it for legal reasons or to reflect changes in our services. If we do so, we will make the updated Privacy Notice available in our application. Also, we will update the “Last Updated” date. In case we implement significant changes, we will notify you through the Ready App and through other means of communication such as via [email protected].uk. Please note, by using our services after receiving the notification of the updates, you consent to our updated notice. We strongly encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Notice for any changes. We will make prior versions of our privacy notices available for review.
